The kids begged me to jump in as they splashed around the pool. Like me, the dog hid from the sun.
Lukáš admired his ingredients. Chicken breasts shared the flame with mounds of popping bacon. Eggs gurgled. The air fryer guzzled a bag of frozen fries. Mayonnaise dripped off pieces of toasted white bread.
“This is better than the one at the Louvre,” I said. He pulled his shoulders back and smiled.
